The Biscuit Factory is the UK’s largest independent contemporary art, craft & design gallery set in the heart of Newcastle’s cultural quarter. Housed in a former Victorian warehouse, our beautiful gallery spaces are set over two floors, displaying a range of contemporary fine art, sculpture, original prints and jewellery, quality craftsmanship and design led homewares from over 200 artists every season. A number of artist studios were also developed on the lower 2 floors of the building housing 25 creative work spaces.

Attended a wedding reception. Great venue.
Attending a ball here and it was extremely well organised.
The room was nice and the staff very good.
Highly recommend for a function to do about 200 people.

Nice basement venue with bar & small stage area, plus large stage area. Both stages have good lighting and PA systems. Great for all types of functions and events. I’ve been there for private parties and many of the “Bright Club” ticketed events.
Nice little bar for small events – gone to a jazz night and salsa class. It’s a nice little place down stairs. Haven’t been on any occasion and haven’t seen the whole of premises 🙂
Friday Night at Black Swan it’s always incredible, Salsa and Kizomba dance, great music with lots of friendly and amazing people from around the world.
