The Biscuit Factory is the UK’s largest independent contemporary art, craft & design gallery set in the heart of Newcastle’s cultural quarter. Housed in a former Victorian warehouse, our beautiful gallery spaces are set over two floors, displaying a range of contemporary fine art, sculpture, original prints and jewellery, quality craftsmanship and design led homewares from over 200 artists every season. A number of artist studios were also developed on the lower 2 floors of the building housing 25 creative work spaces.

This tower has been restored and now privately own and lived in. Can still be viewed from outside. 

Lovely romantic thirteenth century building in the city centre.  Fantastic exclusive wedding venue.

The Pavilion and Gardens can be used by community groups and businesses and hired for events and weddings. Located in an historic Georgian Square, just a stone’s throw from Newcastle city centre, Summerhill Pavilion and Gardens is the home of Summerhill Bowling Club, a venue with over a hundred years of history and many stories to tell. It is maintained and developed as a community resource by the Summerhill Trust charity and is funded through donations, subscriptions, grants and site hire.

We had a wedding reception here and it was excellent. The bar is not too expensive and the staff were really accommodating.
