Martin has re-upholstered 2 items for me now. The first my mother’s much loved, very worn, priceless in sentimental value, shell shaped back chair was as good – if not better than new when returned. When I began to suffer from a back problem rather than buy a new kneeling chair, I decided to go second hand and ask Martin to update my purchase. Again a very professional job, beautifully executed and in a short space of time Prices are extremely competitive and value for money. I will definitely be using his services again.
Martin did a very professional job of recovering my 4 dining room chairs and they look brand new. The work only took 2 days at a very reasonable price and I am delighted with the result. He’s a lovely man to deal with and I highly recommend him.
I’ve just had two kitchen stools re-upholstered. The quality of materials used is much better than the original and the stools are now more comfortable and look better than they did when they were new. Also, very quick turnaround (2 days) and reasonable price. Great stuff.

These guys do such brilliant work; they did an amazing job on an old chesterfield sofa which needed completely stripping back to the frame, restuffing, recovering and all those buttons ! They’ve just done a gorgeous recovering of an antique chair with a metal frame which needed hand stitching. It’s so perfect. Proper craftsmanship. Thank you.

I was delighted to find a local firm to reupholster an old wing chair, restore an aged sofa and give it a new loose cover. They were helpful & made the process of selecting fabric very easy. The items were collected & returned at our convenience & the end result is great. The re-upholstery in particular is really excellent. We could have bought new cheap items for the price of the restoration – but this way we support local business, reduce the amount of stuff going to landfill and we have the furniture we like looking as good as new.
