Had a Just Eat delivery from here, arrived on time and delivery driver was lovely, i ordered Chicken Skewers and Prawn Noodles (Pad Ka Mow) both were delicious, highly recommend the skewers 😁👌 last time was so good i have ordered from here again this time i had the Pork Skewers which tasted delicious slightly sweet with a tasty authentic Thai taste.

Another fab takeaway meal from Yathai. Super friendly team, great quality food. Only recently discovered Yathai, but will now be a regular when in town. All curries so far have been great. Pineapple fried rice and gyōzas particularly impressed this time. Staff even carried my order to the car for me last time as I was on crutches and had parked some distance away. Thanks.
Food is amazing, no doubt about that. However there seem to be no communication about when they’re going to be at the Quayside market or not. We travelled quite a distance to town just to have Yathai’s food and when we turned up they weren’t there. Same thing happened today. So disappointed and just feel like we’ve wasted our time and petrol to go there!! If you really value your customers,some advance notice would be great. How hard is it when you have social media to just put a post out saying you won’t be there.

Absolutely amazing food and service. My 1st visit to a Thai restaurant in Newcastle with the family and I couldn’t fault anything. We ordered the Happy Hour menu which included a starter and a main dish.. we ordered Thai green curry, massaman curry, pad Thai noodles, tom yum soup, chicken satay, dumplings and the veg tempura.. the tom yum soup was delicious. There were enough pieces of chicken and not just soup overall we were very happy with the portions. the kids weren’t disappointed and swiped their food. The staff were warm, efficient, friendly and inviting.
Came here in the hottest day of the year because I had a hankering for some Thai food and it was absolutely first class. Great service, a lovely place and the food was incredible. I’ll definitely be back.
Even though it has been a while since my last visit, the cuisine is still excellent. I decided to sample some other dishes, and they were excellent.

Excellent! An intimate place to enjoy a Thai meal. Delightful staff. Our food was tasty and beautifully presented, with good portion size. No complaints from us and highly recommended. We look forward to returning soon.
The really inmate setting is perfect for this restaurant, however I wish they were playing some nice authentic music rather than music you’d hear in really posh establishment, as it did not fit this special little gem.
This place was absolutely fantastic. The food was brilliant, and the service was some of the best service I’ve ever encountered. The waitress that served us was very friendly too. I’d recommend the chilli dishes, the satay skewers and the coconut rice in particular. It’s also very reasonably priced, and they do a nice bottle of Merlot.
