We had the most incredible evening here and cannot wait to go back. Every dish was delicious and mouth watering and our chef was extremely entertaining and made the experience 50times better. We had the Chef Special Banquet and the Royale Banquet
Great food and experience 👌 I totally loved the hot plate show from the chiefs and the food was spot on especially the sea food menu which was fresh and delicious I do recommend them 😋

The food was amazing, the staff was lovely and the overall atmosphere there is great. The sushi is great and quite a bargain if you get a set. The eel and takoyaki are really good and I personally recommend the isoenabe soup. The food is great and they serve decent-large portions. The wait time was only 30-40 minutes for practically a feast. There are so many options and each of them is great. The only downside is how expensive it is but it’s well worth the price. Perfect for special occasions or first impression of Japanese food.
Service was top notch. Food was delicious – I had a bad stomach the day before and was mindful of eating fried food, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of fish and meat they offer. We had the Ku To Set for 4 which was waaay to much food, but everything was very good
Definitely would be back here again if I come to Newcastle at one point.
One of my favourite restaurants in Newcastle. Delicious Japanese food at reasonable prices with brilliant service. The bento boxes are great for the variety of flavours you get. Sushi here is always spot on – fresh and great portions. There are so many things to try here. The only thing is that I get confused by some of the Japanese sauce names so maybe have a bit of a research before going.

Food here was amazing and I’ve already been back twice since first visiting. The waiters we’ve had have all been friendly and helpful. Cocktails were great too!
This came a recommendation from a local Newcastler and it was really good. An Asian fusion, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cuisine. Freshly made sushi, nice presentation and friendly staff. The sake, soju and plum wines were really good 👍🏽
Went today for lunch, I’m half Japanese and go to Japan regularly, so I wasn’t expecting much in terms of the ramen. However, I’m pleased to say that I was very surprised. I’d say that the food in terms of ramen was relatively authentic, and unlike other ramen places, I could tell the difference between broth, which ordinarily at other places I cannot. The staff were very friendly and the service was great There seemed to be a good selection on the menu and this review is only based on what we ate today, see images. However, I think the price was reasonable and the food from today was as authentic as I’ve had so far outside of Japan in terms of ramen. So I’ll definitely be going back. Great staff, good service and decent food. Would recommend
