Best fish & chips in a very long time in fact ever! I drive past fenham fish bar in the morning on way home from my nightshift at the Freeman hospital & always fancied trying it but it’s not really near me however I made an effort to go & so pleased I did. Totally excellent in every way wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

Always a great meal, they’ve expanded the menu as well. Looking forward to trying the Lobster Thermidor!

The Best Fish and chips in the area by far. Love this takeaway, always busy just shows the amount of quality that they use to make their delicious food. I always have the haddock with chips and two lots of mushy peas and tartar sauce as they are super fresh. They usually have a good set of specials also available and if I fancied a change I could be persuaded to get one of them instead. Delivery is available also and is super duper quick 110% recommended!

Lovely Fish & Chips. Enjoyed every mouthful, including the mushy peas and curry sauce very tasty. No grease, No greasy taste left in mouth. Staff very friendly, and along with their full menu there’s plenty to try. Will definitely be ordering again.

Best fish and chip shop in the area (and many miles beside). Cash only in the shop but can order online.

I was in the area on business and I was getting hangry. I know the brothers & sisters can relate to that feeling 😁. Anyway, I saw this place had decent reviews so of I went.
Place looked clean, the girl that served me was super cool & friendly, she had a genuine smile. I ordered fish and chips of course (take out). Cost me 6 quid and in all honesty it was bloody delicious. Crispy, succulent and just what I needed to eradicate my hangryness. If you’re in the area, go check this place.

My dad says, best fish and chip shop he’s been to in living memory. Great portions, tasty fish and potatoes, we would highly recommend!

New to the area and we tried every chippy and couldn’t find anything that tasted like home. Well this place didn’t disappoint! Lovely chips! 🙂
