We’re happy to see you. Leaf is a family run independent clothing shop in Newcastle Upon Tyne, specialising in menswear, ladieswear, footwear and accessories. I  opened Leaf’s doors in 1978 at the age of twenty-three after eight years of experience working in clothing and tailoring – (yes, I started young!) I was joined by my wife Josie shortly after we got married in 1981, and we’ve been running our shop together ever since. Together with our dedicated team, we’ve been kitting out the good people of Newcastle and beyond for all of life’s occasions for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on our unique brands and our top-level personalised, friendly service, which is appreciated in today’s busy world.

Without doubt this is the best clothes shop in the region for all my clothing needs. Brian, Josie and all their staff are really easy to get on with and have a great eye for style and detail. There is absolutely no hard sell from anyone in this shop at all.
Josie (the co owner with husband Brian) has guided me through 30 years of fashion. What more can I say, but thank you.
Throughout the entire time I was in this shop, I was welcome to try on anything I wished. The difference is that I felt no pressure to buy anything. I asked to try on multiple pairs of shoes, many suits & asked lots of questions about their clothing; they were happy to serve. They were attentive but not invasive, well presented & awfully jovial. Their customer service should be the minimum for all of these types of stores & you will be very hard pressed to find this type of experience.

Visited this great shop last week. I bought 3 hats and sunglasses. I would have stayed all day if I had had more time. Love my purchases. Loads of bargains girls. Don’t miss it.
A lovely little shop with cool vintage clothes. I was able to find a vintage US plaid work shirt from OshKosh B’gosh that is so comfy I’ve worn it nearly every since I got it (for a very reasonable price). Very friendly and full of good advice, happy to tell you where else to get something if they don’t have it.
The woman who was in there was so nice and friendly. Being from Stoke this was my first Newcastle vintage experience and i loved it. Defo going back here. Also the prices were very reasonable, got a skirt, top, 2 bags and a necklace for less than i would in primark and i know that nobody else will be wearing the same as me. Love this shop 💗

Went into Union about a week ago in search of a particular bag, the guy working was super helpful and quickly identified exactly what we were looking for, they didn’t have any in stock but he checked when the next order was due and let us know what time to come by so we would definitely get one. The most genuinely helpful and positive retail experience I’ve had in ages! They’re always so kind and smiley in there – I would always choose to shop in Union over other similar higher end retailers because their staff are so lovely! Thank you so much Union.
Incredibly helpful, had an issue with the zip on a Carhartt jacket and they swapped it without charge very quickly even with the difficulty of living in a different city. They even went through the process of trying to repair it first before deeming that a full replacement would be better. Brilliant small shop.
My No.1 shop for all things Carharrt and Edwin. Top quality stuff with a personal feel. Geoff and Doug are local legends man. 5 stars is not enough.
