What We Offer:
In February 2010 CJ Performance Cycles opened its doors in a small premises on Klondyke (High Pit) in Cramlington, Northumberland. It grew very quickly over the next 3 years and moved to a larger shop premises in an old cinema just doors away. In 2015 we opened our second store in Newcastle (Byker), the store went through a complete refurbishment and fit out to allow us to display new brands which CJ Performance Cycles Ltd has not previously stocked. We cater for all cyclists and all budgets. Both shops stock well over 250 bikes as well as large SHIMANO SERVICE CENTRE workshops for repairs, servicing, bike & wheel building. Fork servicing is carried out on site at our Newcastle branch. We offer several cycle to work schemes (Letters of Collection.).

First time customer and a casual cyclist. Went for a basic service as my bike had been sat dormant in the garage for too long! Usually go to Halfords for such maintenance, but thought I’d give Twelfth City Cyclery a try since it was only up the road. It did not disappoint!

What We Offer:
We’re passionate about getting more people on bikes. We do that by saving unwanted bikes from landfill, refurbishing them with a team of volunteers supported by professional mechanics, selling them at a reasonable price or giving them away to people in need. We provide formal and informal training in bike maintenance in a variety of settings so that more people have the skills to keep their bikes in good repair. We do this because we believe that bikes are brilliant and address a variety of health and social issues. Cycling is proven to have beneficial effects on physical and mental health. It’s an affordable and environmentally friendly form of transport. The skills required to fix a bike can be easily taught and transferred to other settings.

REVIEWS
Just got our 5th bike from here. Absolutely no issues with any and as a family we are more than happy with the bikes and customer service. As the kids get bigger we just return the earlier one and get them another next size up. It’s nice to know that the bike will be used again by someone who wants it rather than trying to make a few quid selling it online privately.
