Just when you thought there wasn’t any more room in Newcastle for single dish concept restaurants…think again. I reckon we’re gonna see frigging loads of these over the next 24-36 months. And why not? Here’s my guesses: Geordie Crumpets: ‘add some pulled pork!’. Wey Aye Briquette: ‘BBQ, but done properly this time!’ And something I’d personally love to see, a fish finger sandwich virtuoso. Y’never know. It’s gotta be a hell of a lot easier than doing out a city centre restaurant unit and hoping for the best.

We had the good fortune to come across this little eatery at their new second location; the Stack, Newcastle, on their very first day. It really was ridiculously good. I had my flu jab yesterday and I was miserable, but this cheered me right up! If we lived in Newcastle I’d eat here regularly, as it is, I’ll find an excuse to come back 😊

Awesome Greek authentic food!!! I visited Newcastle and I heard about Acropolis a lot, so I had to try It. It was really fantastic and it’s even better than the one that I usually eat in Greece.

very nice food – probably the best greek food in Newcastle! I really like their homemade pita and vegan wrap. you can tell they use really good quality ingredients. also, very lovely staff.
Amazing taste. Total full of protein. Fast delivery and friendly staff. Find this handsome food on deliveroo, uber eats, on Website and sure on Saturdays to Durham Market and Sundays to quayside.
Fantastic gyros and great to meet Ioannis and his team, couldn’t recommend more! Best place to go for a 10/10 tasty bite. Fab brownies too, recommend the lotus one.
