I have been a client of David’s for many years now. The service I receive is always courteous and professional. David is very knowledgeable, he takes his time and my treatment never feels rushed. I walk out and my feet feel absolutely wonderful. Helen on reception is always cheerful and pleasant too. I highly recommend the Gait Clinic. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
 
I am a long-standing clients of David for over 25 years. When I developed foot problems in my late 30s I thought I would never be able to run and hike mountains again. I tried many other podiatrists and eventually landed at David’s door. Here I am in my 60s and still hiking all over the world. David’s treatment including custom made inserts and corn removal is outstanding. His advice on footwear for running and hiking has been excellent. The clinic now offers other treatments also. Anyone visiting the clinic will receive top class treatment by a bunch of professionals in a friendly and caring atmosphere. Simply the best.
Having battled with a painful foot for 8 months and having been to another podiatrist who left me feeling somewhat underwhelmed, I booked an appointment at the Gait Clinic with a sense of desperation rather than optimism. Notwithstanding my own massive logistical b&lls up on timing, David was fantastic (and so forgiving!!) Such impressive knowledge, skills and a really charming and comforting manner. I have left with my exercise sheet and some kit and I have a real sense of hope that this problem will finally be sorted out! THANK YOU!! Highly recommended 🙂

I’m Rajesh Kakwani, a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon practicing in the North East of England. I studied Undergraduate Medicine (MBBS) and completed a Masters Degree in Orthopaedics at Mumbai University, India. I am a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Before I was appointed as a specialist foot and ankle surgeon in 2014, I undertook fellowships in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery in Bristol and Sheffield. Since then I have led regional and national registrar teaching courses and been involved as a surgical trainer. Mr Kakwani has been very approachable and clear about what having a foot restructure would entail .I am 18 weeks or so following the surgery and all is going to plan.
Mr Kakwani has a great approach to patients and knows exactly what to recommend to treat their problems. He is also a very approachable and friendly person that makes you feel comfortable although you’re seeing him because you have a health issue.
